If an on-duty cop kills a squirrel with his gun, how much paperwork does he have to fill out?

Actually the shooting investigation team and his/her supervisor fill out most of the paperwork. The officer writes a statement describing the events that led up to the shooting, and turns that over to the shooting investigation team. The officer also surrenders his/her service weapon or the weapon involved in the shooting, for testing.

The officer is then verbally interviewed by the shooting investigation team and Internal Affairs, and is placed on administrative leave until the investigation is completed. If an on-duty cop kills a squirrel with his gun, how much paperwork does he have to fill out?
None, Mabye an incident report...why did he shoot a squirrel?!?!?!?!?If an on-duty cop kills a squirrel with his gun, how much paperwork does he have to fill out?
You must be from rural Texas. I knew you all in those woods were doing something.
Probably none
Enough! They have to file a report whenever they fire their weapon ,( except for firing range training.)
What color squirrel?
Claim self defense, hahaha!!
Quite a bit, there is an incedent report along with any eye witness reports have been taken and also the general information report, this is quite difficult and lengthy to do, besides it needs to be filled out in triplicate
It depends on whether or not the squirrel was armed.

Never take an acorn to a gun fight.
Was he hunting? We need more information.
