There cannot be an animal that is half squirrel and half rabbit because squirrels and rabbits are different species and a species is defined by its inability to reproduce with other species. You might be thinking of a chinchilla, which *looks* like it could be a combination of rabbit and squirrel even though it isn't.Has anyone else seen a mutant half squirrel half rabbit species?

Also, if it did exist it would be a hybrid, not a mutant
