Why squirrel or woodpecker bird doesn't eat Durian?

Squirrels do eat durian, but not too often - only when they can access the skin from a branch because of the sharp spikes..they make a hole with their sharp teeth and use their front legs(hands ?) to scoop out the flesh........Woodpecker cannot eat , or unable to eat because their long pecks cannot grasp or grab the durian flesh......Why squirrel or woodpecker bird doesn't eat Durian?
Squirrels do bite raw durian fruit on the trees grown in durian orchard while woodpecker bird preferred certain tree trunks in the jungle.Why squirrel or woodpecker bird doesn't eat Durian?
Because the woodpecker is like Mat Saleh it don't like the durian smell I guess.
