I would walk up to The most Wonderful, Special and Caring Squirrel. Take his hat off (not to mess his hair) and take him in my arms and give him the biggest Hug i could! If u where walking down the park one day %26amp; u see a squirrel in a suit %26amp; hat pass by you what would you do?
I'd ask him where Alice is at, in which the squirrel would reply, ';I'm late, I'm late, for a very important date. No time to say hello, goodbye, I'm late, I'm late, I'm late.'; If u where walking down the park one day %26amp; u see a squirrel in a suit %26amp; hat pass by you what would you do?
Say Hey Scooter, whatcha doin. Reach in my pocket and give him a package of Reese Cups. Pick him up and set him on a bench and we'd sit %26amp; talk about sports for awhile. Give him a hug n say talk to you later %26amp; be on my way. =o`)
I think I'd say hello and ask if he has a twin on Yahoo questions and Answers.I would also ask where he buys his teeny tiny clothes.
I would say hi Scooter, have a reeces pieces buttercup on me!
nothing.
Get some more shrooms from that batch!
Assume I'm seeing things
Start retracing my steps, where in the day did someone slip that in my drink?
Scratch my head in confusion.
I'd smile at him and say ';hi there!';
kick it in the nuts
freak out
lol i would probobly be in shock and then say awwwwww thats so cute......im a girl lol
feed it peanuts.
I'd try to buy some black market nuts from it.
Kidnap him and take him home with me!
I would say '' Hey want a smoke, I often talk with squirrels who smoke them joints''.
Ask myself if I took my meds today or not....
What's up Scoot? Then I'd ask you about sports and stuff.
i would take a picture of it

My dog ate a dead squirrel. Should I worry?
As long as it was dead it's OK.My dog ate a dead squirrel. Should I worry?
Yes It could make your dog sick!! But wow i would worry about him eating anything else (Like me!)My dog ate a dead squirrel. Should I worry?
yes if it had rabies. than you could get it too
I would. Take him to the vet right away. The squirel could of had rabies
yes i would worry... please check your dog at the vet becasue the squirrel might of have rabies...
You should be concerned. Squirrels carry some nasty diseases. Call your vet.
no i wouldnt worry . dogs have eaten stranger stuff just watch him for awhile and keep him of your carpet becsuse he may upchuck the food
nah i wouldnt worry that hard about it. Watch your dog for a few days and make sure it doesnt have a problem while pooping. But what i would worry about is your dog sleeping by your feet at night on the lee of your bed! no smelly socks i hope!
i would be worry. Usually when my dogs a bird, they throw it up. You should call a vet. The squirel could have a disease and get caught in the gestive tract if swollowed whole.
No when my dog was a puppy he brought me dead rats, birds, and he even brought me the bottom half of a squirrel so you can only imagine where the other half was. I did not take him to the vet and he is still alive and it has been a good five years. So I think he will be ok. You might want to watch him a little better though because if he is catching squirrels he might soon find a snake and that could be bad.

Squirrel repellant?
I have too many squirrels around my home.Is there a humane or a natural way to get rid of them ?Squirrel repellant?
If they are on the ground, ground cayenne pepper or a capasisn oil mixture will work for them pretty well. There are several retailers who make squirrel/pest repellant of this type.Squirrel repellant?
hey all! Just wanting to et you know if you spray your area with cologne and or perfume where all the squirrels are. I guess if they smell the scent of humans they dont come! :)
Pretty difficult other than live trapping and moving them to another location. Sometimes a dog will help, as he is considered a predator to the squirrel, but not always.
Remember that the squirrels will continue to make more squirrels, so it's only going to get worse.
If you are feeding birds in your back yard, stop. They are there because it is pleasant for them to be there. Remove the food, and they will go elsewhere.
A few squirrels are cute, too many are a pain. Get a Have-A-Heart trap. They can be found at Home Depot, Lowe's, local hardware store or on line. Use peanut butter on a cracker %26amp; relocate the little guy's at least 3-5 miles away.facebook.com

I have a half eaten squirrel on my deck. What would do that?
On your deck it was a cat. Hawks eat their prey in the safety of a tree. A raccoon is an unlikely squirrel predator, and a fox would not have dined in an exposed position on your deck. The fox also would have eaten the whole squirrel.I have a half eaten squirrel on my deck. What would do that?
Probbly not a racoon. Maybe a fox. It would be easier to tell if we knew where you lived. Maybe it was a bear or something. nahh that wouldve finished it. a coyote or wolf wouldve finished it. It mightve been a cat. A hawk probbly wouldve taken the entire thing with it. maybe a stray dogI have a half eaten squirrel on my deck. What would do that?
Probably a raptor (hawk or owl.) Although most raptors will take their prey up into a tree to eat it, some will eat on the ground. If your deck is raised off the ground, it's more likely to feed there. They often eat only part and then fly away.
Many animals prey on squirrels, though I would guess it was a hawk, depending on where you live.
Do you have a history of sleep walking? Did you wake up with blood on your hands? Just something to think about.
either a cat or a large bird of prey dropped it. my cat used to catch squirrels and leave part of their body on our porch
something that didn't have a doggy bag!
omg ;D thats creepy.
uhh you should call animal control?

What gauge wire should be used to make a squirrel snair?
how about fishing line is 30 lb ok?What gauge wire should be used to make a squirrel snair?
30# fishing line is ok... winter time you might want to use 1/16'; wire though...What gauge wire should be used to make a squirrel snair?
dude why squirrels? u should b a vegan like me p.s acually i'm not a vegan i just don't think that squirrels r ur style
First squirrel season is in Sept. in most states. I don't know of any place that has a season in the summer. Next there is no state that I know that allows snares or dead-falls for trapping. Only body or leg hold traps. If you have a nuisance squirrel by a 1000ftps pellet gun and just shoot the thing.
rat poison gauge
not what guage wire
12 guage shot gun
:)

What would Dr. Phil do if I just made squirrel noises?
put his nuts in your mouthWhat would Dr. Phil do if I just made squirrel noises?
since you cant talk only squirrel talk he would ask your parents or friends when did this all begin.he would figure out what started it try to talk to him about the past and if that didn't work he probably would get some other animal sounds and see if you mimic them after awhile .oh maybe he would first see if there is blocking any air passage way of his throat make sure his hearing is well .
maybe see if he would read things and understand things and see if he will communicate on paper or some thing else hand signs. What would Dr. Phil do if I just made squirrel noises?
I think he'd understand, he makes ';doctor noises'; and he's not a doctor.
Be hypocritical by calling you crazy.
oh, he would have to dig deeper into his ';pop psychology for idiots'; handbook for that one, lol
He would send you to squirrel house.
He's nuts too!

How can a squirrel get even with an annoying dog without getting into too much trouble?
Seems someone has it out for me. Any help would be appreciated. I guess this just might turn out like an updated version of Road Runner vs the Coyote filled with Acme rockets and stuff.

take an acorn and fling it into the dogs butt, hell never know how it got there
Dig up his bones and place them high up in your favorite tree. That'll teach him! Or when he's inside, pee in his water bowl. %26lt;mutters%26gt; Setting traps for innocent little squirrels!
Wait till he's sleeping and then pounce on him. Be ready to run fast though.

I'd just let it go. I wouldn't worry too much about the Woof dog, I'm sure you're quite a few steps ahead of him. If he can't even get you to come out of the garage, then I wouldn't worry about him outsmarting you any time in the near future. Lay low, he'll get bored...And who knows, maybe some fast chipmunk will come by and give him a good chase( the chipmunk will win of course)
We can have a Toga party and not invite the dog, that will show him.
dig a hole in the ground
cover it with grass and lure
him in with some red meat

Figure out which house he lives in by watching him. Then scamper over the tree tops where he can't get you, and get onto the roof of the house. Most houses have spaces under the eaves where you can squeeze in. Bring the wife and kids, and make yourself comfortable for the winter.

stupid squirrels. they make me laugh...i got pine cones thrown at me before...i shot him haha.
you should jump around and get him dizzy haha
Instead of throwing nuts.. catch him napping and bite his..stash of nuts.
throw nuts at it from the trees
hide his toys
The squirrels in my yard tend to run around just out of my dog's tie-out reach. Very teasing! Drives my dog nuts!
I can see that Bluto has answered the question! so I'll go with his answer! lol
judging by the answers, that dog isn't the only one who feels that way. but by and large most folks love you squirrel. i leave peanuts out for you all the time. at Christmas you stored a lot of walnuts and Brazil nuts. fire at will. i will have that dog ';tutored'; if he doesn't leave you alone.

Whats the deference Between a chipmonk and a squirrel?
A chipmunk is a squirrel in the same family Sciuridae.Whats the deference Between a chipmonk and a squirrel?
CHIPMUNKS belong to the genus {Eutamias}, which includes many different species. They are small (head %26amp; body 4'; - 6';, depending on species; tail length 2陆'; - 4 7/8'; also depending on species, with a weight of up to 3 2/3 OUNCES); marked with alternate dark and light stripes, 9 along back, 5 on each cheek, a whitish spot behind each ear; sides yellowish to reddish brown, under surface whitish; tail flat, brush-like, with hairs on sides.
Chipmunk burrows, unlike those of ground squirrels, are usually hidden.
GROUND SQUIRRELS belong to the genus {Citellus}.
The Golden-mantled Ground Squirrel {Citellus lateralis} has a head %26amp; body measuring 5 3/4'; - 7陆';, tail length of 2陆'; - 4';, and weighs 4 - 8 OUNCES. Head and neck all yellowish or coppery red, back grizzeled brown, each side has a broad white stripe boardered in black, under surface pale gray to whitish; tail black centrally, buffy at margin.
The Belding Ground Squirrel {Citellus beldingi} has a head %26amp; body measuring 7'; 8陆';, tail length of 2录'; - 3';, and weighs 7 - 10 OUNCES. Body light yellowish brown, with broad patch of bright reddish brown along back.
The California Ground Squirrel {Citellus beecheyi} has a head %26amp; body measuring 9'; - 10 3/4';, tail length 6'; - 7陆';, and weighs 1 - 1陆 POUNDS. Body dull yellowish brown ticked with black and white hair ends, sides of neck and shoulders grizzeled white with dark brown patch between, plain buff below.
Chipmunks and ground squirrels, but NOT tree squirrels, have thin inner cheek pouches for carrying food or nest material.
TREE SQUIRRELS belong to the genus {Sciurus}.
The California Gray Squirrel {Sciurus griseus} has a head %26amp; body measuring 10'; - 11陆';, tail length 9陆'; - 11';, ears to 1陆'; high, and weighs 1陆 - 2 POUNDS. Body uniform gray with a slight pepper and salt effect, under surface pure white, tail gray margined with white.
I hope this helps.Whats the deference Between a chipmonk and a squirrel?
Chipmunks are small and usually brown with a black strip going down their back. Usually found hiding in small cracks outside.
Squirrels are more commonly seen and are gray with big bushy tails. they collect nuts and usually are seen in trees, on the ground and (sadly) flattened on busy roads.

If a squirrel has raboies and it bites a dog and dog bites human... does human have rabies?
Let me rephrase your question in two ways...
A squirrel has rabies and bites a dog that has not been vaccinated or in other words, had his rabies shot, then the dog will get rabies, if the dog bites a human, the human will have rabies.
A squirrel has rabies and bites a dog that has had his rabies shot, the rabies virus dies on the dog, the dog bites a human, the human and dog both have no rabies.
I hope that helps you out =)If a squirrel has raboies and it bites a dog and dog bites human... does human have rabies?
Not if your dog has rabies vaccination, because it should prevent your dog from contracting rabies. If your dog bites you no rabies can be passed along. If a squirrel has raboies and it bites a dog and dog bites human... does human have rabies?
If the dog is properly vaccinated, transfer of the disease will stop here and not carry through the dog.
only if the dog didn't get its shots. but the only way to tell if a dog has the disease is to look at the brain and to do so you have to take off the head. and once the human has the symptoms its to late.

What is the normal lifespan of a squirrel?
6 years
Qoute:
There are over 365 species of squirrel's or squirrel like mammals through out the world. These are divided into seven families. The three most common squirrel families are the ground squirrel, the flying squirrel and the tree squirrel. The Gray squirrel is probably the most common of the tree squirrels. They inhabit most of the northern hemisphere.
The average Gray squirrel is fifteen inches long and weighs about one pound. Its diet consists of nuts, seeds and fruit. They will eat scrapes from the trash including bread, meat and even snack food. The life span of the squirrel is approximately six years. Most urban squirrels do not reach their first birthday. This is due not to predators, but rather to automobiles. Compared to its rural counterpart, which often parishes from the lack of food. What is the normal lifespan of a squirrel?
proably, I would say about 5 or 10 years, considering that cats live about 15 years, and dogs about 15 years. Squireels are more wild of animals, so I would estimate about 10 years.. I am no expert however, so I would reccomind a good old fashioned google search. What is the normal lifespan of a squirrel?
Not long when my dog gets on it's trail!
About 5 years, maybe more.
Until it falls off the wire or gets hit by a car. not long

What month is it good to kill squirrel?
While some state squirrel hunting seasons open earlier Association squirrel season starts the first of September and runs through to the end of March allowing seven months of squirrel hunting. What month is it good to kill squirrel?
Not sure about the killing part, but as for hunting, the best time of year to hunt them is in the fall - usually October through November.
I went hunting squirrels just for something to do in February, as part of the extended season. I was surprised to find none, even though the weather was warm when I was hunting. The key here is, squirrels are most active in the fall, when they are harvesting nuts and grains to keep in their nest for the long winter. Come February, they have no need to go out looking for food, so they just stay in their dens and eat what they have gathered. What month is it good to kill squirrel?

The best time is in season. The colder months are best less chance of disease.
In season.
Here in NY is basically all of winter.
Later in the fall after a good frost.
winter when all the flea`s and tick`s are off the squirrel.
any month you can find one of those annoying acorn thieving beasts
every month, get the little jerks
Not sure about the killing part, but as for hunting, the best time of year to hunt them is in the fall - usually October through November.
I went hunting squirrels just for something to do in February, as part of the extended season. I was surprised to find none, even though the weather was warm when I was hunting. The key here is, squirrels are most active in the fall, when they are harvesting nuts and grains to keep in their nest for the long winter. Come February, they have no need to go out looking for food, so they just stay in their dens and eat what they have gathered. What month is it good to kill squirrel?

My baby squirrel is sick what do I do? ?
I think my baby squirll is sick. Well I know she is sick, anyway, I have been trying to hydrate she all day, also she is passing a green snot like discharge. She hasn't gotten any worse, and she is still eating. So what am I supposes to do? I don't have anyway to get to the vet seeing as how I don't have a car, and no buses run out this far. I live pretty deep in the country.
So what can I do for her? My baby squirrel is sick what do I do? ?
AWWWW :((
make sure she is comfortable and make sure she is drinking lots of water and continues to eat and hope for the best. i had a chipmunk that was like that for a bit but he got better after a few days :))
i hope she feels better! My baby squirrel is sick what do I do? ?
You could try to either feed it milk and feel if it is hot, if it is get a friend to drive you. Why don't you get a mom or dad to drive you.
AW! You have a baby squirrel!
Try to feed it water through an eye dropper, if it doesnt get water, it will dehydrate and die. :(
Good Luck!
squirrel unusual pet lol.
anyway try to feed her with a drip thing for water.
i dont know much about squirrels so cant really help lol soz.

What's your opinion on this LSU squirrel story?
Earlier this semester someone wrote into LSU's school paper with this story:
Yesterday my girlfriend was coming up to my dorm room, so, like I have the entire year, I threw my Tiger card** to her out my third story window. The card landed about 10 feet away from her, and she went to pick the card up. Suddenly she heard a strange chirping sound, and as she was looking to see what was making the sound, a squirrel darted from behind a tree, grabbed the card and ran all the way up the pine tree with it. I witnessed all of this from my third story window. I was as surprised as I was ticked off. I looked today to see if the squirrel had dropped the card, but nothing was there. Thanks to that squirrel, today I had to spend $15 on a new card.';
Do you think this student should have to pay for the new card? Or is the school responsible for the squirrel's antics?
**The LSU ';tiger card'; is the school ID used to enter dorm buildings. What's your opinion on this LSU squirrel story?
omg i love the LSU TIGERS!!!!What's your opinion on this LSU squirrel story?
NO, he should not be so careless with his valuables, I would be ashamed to ask the school to pay, he should have climbed the tree and took his card back from the squirrel, but what can I say his going to LSU had he gone to Tulane he would have had better seance LOL
That is too funny!!!!! Sorry but go ahead and cough up the money dude. Don't hate the squirrel.
You should pay for not having school pride.
Did he loose the card? Then it's his responsibility. I mean he didn't have to throw it down. How about this, he, the girlfriend and the squirrel can pay $5.00 each...
i'd pay 15 to have a great story like that under my belt.

Why squirrel or woodpecker bird doesn't eat Durian?
Squirrels do eat durian, but not too often - only when they can access the skin from a branch because of the sharp spikes..they make a hole with their sharp teeth and use their front legs(hands ?) to scoop out the flesh........Woodpecker cannot eat , or unable to eat because their long pecks cannot grasp or grab the durian flesh......Why squirrel or woodpecker bird doesn't eat Durian?
Squirrels do bite raw durian fruit on the trees grown in durian orchard while woodpecker bird preferred certain tree trunks in the jungle. Why squirrel or woodpecker bird doesn't eat Durian?
Because the woodpecker is like Mat Saleh it don't like the durian smell I guess.
ionly human know how to enjoy Durian
squirrel eat durian woodpecker not sure
ya, i don't know but squirrel and woodpeckers like babi

Another squirrel hunting question?
I live in CT, and it is winter here. I am trying to hunt squirrel, but I can't find any! Any advice on how to find some squirrels? How can I find where their dens are? I can't find any holes in the trees! Please help! Thank you in advance to all who answer!Another squirrel hunting question?
Baiting works great especially in the snow. throw a mix of peanuts, doritos, cut up bread, and sunflower seeds out on the ground in the woods you hunt. Give it a few hours and check it out. They'll be their. The doritos help them see it when they poke their heads out of their burrows. If you can find a small tree with a nest (bunch of leaves and twigs in a big 12in mess up in the branches) you can grab the tree and shake the hell out of it. This usually will make the tennant come running out to find out whats going on. Never shoot into the nest because even if you do kill one, their it will sit forever (unless you can climb up). Technically, you are illegally hunting but, this is one of the main things that developed my obsessing for hunting as a kid. So unless you 18, have fun and enjoy.Another squirrel hunting question?
you should probably put out some peanuts or shelled corn used for deer hunting but only put a little out at first until you know they're eating it. You should sit down after a day or two by it and watch and see if they're coming but put the corn at the bottom of a tree where they would feel safer trying to eat it. I hunt squirrel myself you should probably use a 22 cal. during the winter because your not as covered as in the fall where there are allot of leaves. but I use a shotgun anyway and it seems to work well but a 22. cal would be easier unless your looking for a big challenge.
Look for leaf nests in trees, that will tell you if there are squirrels in the area. DO NOT try to shoot squirrels in their nests!
In the winter, they are active only on the warmer days- often midday is best.
I have the best luck finding squirrels in areas that have a mix of hardwood forests and fields. If you can find oak trees near a cornfield- you will find squirrels.
Eat what you shoot, and don't forget the hunting license.
* Squirrels are a game species and you need to follow your state laws, including license requirements. I use a call to get them out of their nests.
Harold- yes of course I eat squirrel meat, as do most other small game hunters. Not doing so is wasteful, unsportsmanlike, and in most if not all states, illegal. If you were a hunter you should have known that.
Bait and call....I don't hunt them I exterminate them. I use a Primos Squirrel buster call and it works pretty good. Takes a little practice though. They are actually in my barn more than they are outside I think.
You eat squirrel meat!?

What is the best bait for squirrel and rabbit?
Well if you just want to feed them use berries or bird food. works a charm in my backyardWhat is the best bait for squirrel and rabbit?
that is cruel. What is the best bait for squirrel and rabbit?
Bread. If you have a dog, let it kill the rabbit. It's easier that way. Squirrels are VERY over populated where I live. It's ridiculous! There's like 3 squirrels per 6 trees!
Squirrel=Nuts
Rabbits=Vegies
I agree with bubbles.
That's cruel.
And if you're going to bait the animals before you shoot them, you're pretty sad. Be a real man and go find them and shoot them.
They're hungry and just looking for food, try leaving them alone.
Grow up.
If your hunting, I don't know why you would bait?
go find them they aren't all that hard to get.
If your catching then use pine cones, nuts or bedding they might like, such as cotton or something like it.
Also bird seed works well, you might try that.

Would this gun take out a squirrel or a bird?
I am look for a bb/pellet gun I can use. It has to be 10 and up.
http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/produc鈥?/a>Would this gun take out a squirrel or a bird?
The Daisy Grizzly shoots a pellet at somewhere between 300 and 350 fps. (Daisy doesn't specify the pellet weight (heavier pellets give slower velocities), but given that the Grizzly I had back in the 90s said it got 325 fps with pellets I'm betting the 350 fps figure is with light weight (5 grain or less) pellets.) We'll assume for sake of argument that its with 8 grain pellets. If so the gun yields a muzzle energy of between 1.6 (300 fps) and 2.2 (350 fps) ft-lbs of muzzle energy. (If I'm right about what the velocity should be with an 8 grain pellet it works out to 1.9 ft-lbs.) Birds take between 2-3 ft-lbs of impact energy to kill humanely.(1) Squirrels take 3 ft-lb of impact energy to kill humanely.(1) Odds are a Daisy Grizzly doesn't have enough energy to humanely kill anything at any distance. (OK maybe you could kill a mouse at 10 feet... but anything more than that is beyond this gun.)
If you want an inexpensive airgun for hunting, I'd suggest you look at the Crosman 760, Daisy 880, Crosman 664, and Crosman 2100. (Guns are grouped in ascending order of power and quality.) The Crosman 760 delivers 6.3 ft-lbs of muzzle energy and costs $35 at Walmart. The Daisy 880 delivers 7.1 ft-lbs of muzzle energy and costs $40 at Walmart. The Crosman 664 delivers around 7.1-7.3 ft-lbs of muzzle energy and costs about $50 at Walmart. The Crosman 2100 (AKA Remington Airmaster 77) delivers 9.2 ft-lbs of muzzle energy and costs between $60 (at Pyramid Air) and $73 (at Walmart). All of those guns have sufficient power for hunting small game animals at distances between 15 and 30 yards (depending on the size of the animal and your ability to accurately place the pellet). Personally I'd encourage you to go with the Crosman 2100 since that's the best gun on the list. Second place goes to the Crosman 664.Would this gun take out a squirrel or a bird?
no that gun will not kill a bird or a squirrel the best cheapest gun i know of is at walmart from 50-70$ its an airmaster 77 you can kill a bird or a squirrel with it fps 650 i have the remington airmaster 77,( fps 750 ) price 70$ Great gun i wouldnt use bbs to hunt birds or squirrels though there not very accurate but for hunting birds and stuff like that i wouldnt have a gun under 650fps so hope this heped
No I would look for a gun in the 600 fps range or higher to get a clean kill on head shot. For small birds you might get by with 460 or 500 fps.you can find some daisy and crosman pellet gun at these speed at a good price if you shop a round.I have even seen some gamo's coming down in price.
No. Id call in an air strike. I love the smell of naplam in the morning. Or you could use a 5 megaton nuke. Ether might kill it. But to be sure, after its down empty your 12 ga into it. Just joking. No. Id get a .22 for small game.
JKirsch is right ! for $150 id include the benjamin 392/397 or $200 RWS 34, my 2 favorites!
That is illegal in some states (shooting birds and squirrels). I suggest you do some research on your state laws.
no.
Get a blowgun with darts, that will take out a squirrel or a bird and it is WICKED fun. I am serious. Look up blowguns, you actually put in a dart and aim and blow, my older son got one and we were like kids playing with it shooting all sorts of things. It also has plastic darts so if you want you can shoot your brother....lol
No is the answer to your question.

Someone gave me a baby gray squirrel. It's probably 3 months old. Should I keep him?
I put him in a double decker ferret cage with a hammock(which he seems to love). He's eating everything I put in there and he seems content. We take him out and play with him several times a day. Still, is it cruel to keep him caged? The girl that gave him to me said she tried to turn him loose, but he kept coming back. Also, he's very tame for now, but I'm afraid he'll start biting when he's older.Someone gave me a baby gray squirrel. It's probably 3 months old. Should I keep him?
You're best bet would be to turn him over to your local Dept. of Natural Resources, they will in turn send him to a rehab facility to be readied for the wild; or you can find a wild animal rehab facility in your area-check your yellow pages. He's a wild animal, so there's a good chance he may become aggressive as he gets older. Plus, in most areas, it's illegal to keep a wild animal unless you have a special license.Someone gave me a baby gray squirrel. It's probably 3 months old. Should I keep him?
you cant release it now it would die in the wild, it wouldnt know how to fend for itself
So long as it has plenty of excersize and lots of fun that squirrels like shouldnt be a problem.
Have seen domestic ones before, they are intelligent and rodents - and as rats are kept as pets I cant see a problem
it shouldnt nip you it you look after it, and keep to the same person(s) feeding it that it trusts
we had the same problem when a baby snow-shoe hair (type of wild rabbit) jumped in our arms when our dog killed its parents... We never thought it would live that long but it ended up living for 9 1/2 years!!! We had a great time with him and he was very happy. First read up on them and see if you can handle it or not. Dont make it to public cause depending on where you are, it might be illegal. If you cant deal with it, give it to a Natural Resourse Center and explain what happened, they will decide if to send back to the wild or keep him in a rehab. But otherwise, watch to see if there's any aggresive signs. It should act just like a chinchila or Sugar glider
First it is Illegal in the u.k. to take in a wild animal without you hold a licence, which is issued by D.E F.R.A.and there are not many around.Your Grey Squirrel is classed as vermin like a Rat.If you want to be kind to him take him to a park or wood where there are others and release him there.as it grows older they become very vicious and not the nice cuddly pet you have at the moment My advice is to release it as soon as possible before the winter sets in and it will find it's own way in life.
you cant let him loose if you live in the uk-its illegey here to let them loose-grey squrrels get this virus but i thonk it justs affects red squrrels-ask a animal dep what they think and if you do keep it then ask them what they need-feed/excercise/just anything
KEEP IT OF CORSE!!!!

I have seen a mother squirrel have 3 babies in a nest she built in our yard. If that's the norm, I really don't know.

How is this possible for a squirrel to do this?? (Sad)?
Yesterday when i was driving i saw a black squirrel bolt across the street. the van in front of me braked, only to slow down and run over the back half of its body with the back tire. as the story is very disturbing i find it amazing how even though the back half of body was paralyzed it was still sprinting on this paws. How can an animal be struck but continue on with no hesitation? How is this possible for a squirrel to do this?? (Sad)?
adrenalineHow is this possible for a squirrel to do this?? (Sad)?
It is sad ... millions of animals are hit by vehicles worldwide and killed.
I don't think the driver did this purposely. Unfortunately the squirrel probably took awhile to expire.
It was already scared when it tried to cross the road ... it was in great pain and running on what was previously stated as adrenaline.

In airgun hunting, accuracy is more important than minor differences in a pellet's terminal performance. You should pick the lead pellet that is most accurate in your gun and practice until you can consistently put a pellet into the head or heart/lung cavity every time at the distances you expect to be shooting at while hunting (and you'll want to get close, as in 20 yards or less).
As far as where to aim... Head shots are the best option. The only other area seems to be just behind and slightly above the front leg (and that probably wouldn't yield an instant kill with a Crosman 760).Squirrel hunting with crossman pumpmaster 760?
The 760's a great hunter if you mod it. I ordered a Crosman 24'; rifled barrel, cut in half - 12'; barrel. I sleeved it %26amp; added a moderator, DYI digital camo - Dark O.D./Med. O.D. %26amp; Flat Black. This 30 inch carbine chronys 780 FPS, 8 pumps, RWS Super H Points. It's good @ 40 yards on ground squirrels.
The Crosman 760*** really isn't a very good small game rifle(squirrel)....It takes a minimum of 3.0fpe at impact with a perfect head shot to make a clean, humane kill...
The Crosman 760 only generates a muzzle energy of 4.4fpe with BBs, and that's if you accept the ';claim'; of %26gt;up to%26lt; 625fps...In the real world, it's very-very rare to get that ';claim';...
With the 760, it would be head shots only, at very short range...Attempting heart/lung shots with a Crosman 760 is going to lead to wounded game...
Good quality pellets - reasonable cost
Beeman Laser(6.5gr)
JSB Exact Domed(7.6gr)

RWS Superpoint(8.2gr)
RWS Superdome(8.3gr)
Beeman Silver Sting(8.6gr)
Beeman Crow-Magnum(8.8gr)
You just have to experiment until you find the pellets your rifle prefers(accurate) - IMO, with this rifle, start with the lighter pellets first...
**Predators have the most widely varied results of the pellets I listed..
***If you want an inexpensive multi-pump pneumatic to hunt small game, the Crosman 2100 or Daisy 880 would be better choices. The extra 125fps makes a big difference...
So, if you are squirrel hunting with the 760 PumpMaster, you are going to be running 10 pumps on it. Next, you should be looking at a midweight pointed pellet which shoots tight groups for you. Some specific ones you can take a look at are the Beeman Silver Sting, or the RWS Super Point. These are 8.2 - 8.3 grain pellets. If you are shooting 10 yards and in you may want to try Beeman Silver Arrows, which are heavier around 10.3 grains.
Essentially, air guns have a tendency to do better with heavier pellets in terms of creating kinetic energy, because the generate a much greater volume of air than pressure. The 760 is no different. In a BB or really lightweight pellet you might generate 600 - 625 FPS, running a 4 - 5 grain BB or pellet. Going to the 8.2 - 8.3 grain pellet, you are still likely to be generating 580 - 600 fps if you get one that runs well for you. However, the 10.3 may be too heavy for the air rifle.
Generally, you need to be running at least 5 - 8 foot pounds of energy at delivery to cause a hollowpoint pellet to expand, depending on the brand and weight of the pellet. Thus, it is unlikely you will be able to get consistent expansion with the 760.
Because you are running relately low energy, the concern of overpenetration which is normal for a pointed pellet is unlikely to be a problem.
Now, you might want to try a midweight domed pellet as well. They have a somewhat better ballistic coefficient than a pointed pellet so they will carry a bit better. With a 760 your shots should generally be about 20 yards and in, if you are stretching that range the domed pellets will carry a bit better. A couple of my favorites in this catagory are JSB Exacts (standard weight, not heavy) and the RWS Superdome. A couple of others you can try which are a bit lighter but still heaver than a BB are the Crosman Premier Lites and the JSB Express. In a domed pellet, because of the improved ballistic coefficient you can go with a slightly lighter pellet (7.9 grains vs. 8.3) because they are less effected by wind resistance.
Now, how do you really tell if these work well in your gun? I'd recommend spending the less than $50 for a 4 power fixed air gun scope and mounts. Use your basement or some sort of range at home and actually benchrest your air gun and shoot some groups at about 20 - 25 feet. Even with a 760 you should be able to shoot a group of 5 shots that you can easily cover with a dime - full 10 pumps each time.
Now, when you are shooting squirrels, yes, head shots can be good, if you can make them. However, squirrels are like tons of other critters, where if you shoot them quartering away, just behind the front shoulder you'll get lung and heart which will put them down hard as well.
Now, is all of this stuff really necessary, if what you want to do is go out after some squirrels in the back yard? Not necessarily. Heck, as a kid, my best friend took down plenty of squirrels, mice and other small critters with plain old BB's, sometimes running 2 of them at the same time. We ran open sights, and missed as many as we got, which wasn't bad. Generally, if we wounded one, it was injured enough not to be able to move and we'd have to administer a coup de grace. However, what all of this stuff will do is give you the maximum performance out of your 760, which is for the price, a handy quick pumping compact carbine air gun. There are even some companies which will customize your 760, basically upgrading the quality of your seals and such, so you can go to 20 pumps on your gun which makes it quite a reasonable low cost carbine airgun. Now some people have a problem with putting a $70 tune into $40 air gun. Which I completely understand. However, if the alternative is a $150 Benjamin which is where you would have to go to get one to shoot as well, it starts to make sense for some. Benjamin's will have nicer furniture on them, no doubt, but for some it's all about the power and the group.
Good luck,
Thinkingblade
i have a 760 and only aim at the temple or back of head on squirrels and keep my shots to about 15yrds! my 760 shoots most pellets accurately, but you must be able to hit a dime 8 of 10 times at your hunting distance to be ethical! my top choices of pellets rws super domes, jsb exacts, beeman fts and crossman premiers!
Any pellet will work on a squirrel within a reasonable distance. As far as getting a good clean shot go for the head, neck, or rib cage area for vitals.facebook.com

What are your opinions on squirrel calls?
i just got this squirrel call from academy and havent tried it out yet
(since is dark)
i wanted to know if you have had any luckWhat are your opinions on squirrel calls?
I have tried several types and have had good luck with all of them. Some are good at getting them to peek out of their hole and give you a head shot. What are your opinions on squirrel calls?
They're ok. The ones that I've tried seem to work. Try sitting down and rubbing two quarters together, that's a pretty simple trick. It mimicks the sound that squirrels make when they are gnawing through nuts.

Squirrel Nuisance?
My mother has had this problem for a couple of years and she doesn't know what to do so I'm hopeing someone on here can give her some good advice. Her neighbors has a lot of trees and a lot of squirrels. The problem she is having is the squirrels are coming to her house and chewing the wood on the porch, tearing up the wood. Does anyone know of anything that she can use to discourage the squirrels from doing this. Killing them is not an option since she lives in the city. Thank you for your answers and any help.Squirrel Nuisance?
Squirrel attack the edges/corners first right?
Buy some atomic hot sause or pepper based product and wipe onto edges where they like to chew-the chewed areas should have exposed grain and the sause will soak in-if done carefully and sparingly it should not look bad!!!Squirrel Nuisance?
You could try placing a fake owl nearby.
Another option would be an electric ultra sonic pest deterent, available at the hardware store. These are meant for mice and rats, but should work on squirrels.
Ex-lax
I had a problem with squirrels getting into my bird feeder and connected low voltage wires to their acsess. this worked for me and also keeps raccoons out but ahouse is on avery much larger scale so just an idea.
sprinkle cayenne pepper around everywhere it doesnt harm them it just keeps theem away

My cat killed a squirrel what should i do?
Kill that pussy back.My cat killed a squirrel what should i do?
I would call the vet. Does your cat have his shots? I would be concerned about rabies. My cat killed a squirrel what should i do?
Grill it. (The squirrel, not the cat.)
Put a collar on your cat that has a bell, or better yet keep her indoors, so she doesn't come to the same fate as the squirrel. Just bury the squirrel.
bury the squirrel . get your cat a collar with a bell so potential prey know hes coming and can get away fast.
cats hunt animals all the time, they might drop it at your feet as a token of appreciation, just don't try to punish the cat -you might know how they react- and burn the squirrel's carcass, then take your cat to the vet for a general checkup on parasites and rabies, then anything he brings home burn it to avoid contamination, remember squirrels are rodents and transmit a lot of diseases... and remember that this is just the cat's way of saying ';hey, here's a present for you, hope you like it';
Nothing. those things happen. Discard of the squirrel carcass and monitor your cat for vomiting
nothing, thats nature.
Make a delicious squirrel melt sandwich!!!
Just kidding, just throw it out in the trash. That would be the best thing to do.
Hell, I'd just let the cat eat it. That's what cats do!!!
I hope your cat is up to date with it's shots!
Skin it, gut it, fry it. The squirrel, not the cat.
You should take your cat to the vet to make sure it didn't catch anything from the squirrel. Then you need to get a collar with a bell on it, preferably the kind that will break away if the cat gets caught on something. As for the squirrel, put it in the ground.
Get your cat treated for worms.
bury the squirrel and get your cat checked for rabies.
Wow, what a little hunter your cat is! Squirrels are pretty tough because of those sharp teeth and claws. Make sure your cat isn't injured and hasn't been bitten. Hopefully your cat has had a rabies shot. Good job to your cat, but be careful, those squirrels can be mean.
Honestly, my outside cats kills and eats squirrels all the time. Has your cat gotten vaccinated for rabies? That's the safest thing to do is get the cat vaccinated if he/she isn't already. Otherwise, I personally wouldn't worry about it. It's a natural thing for cats to chase down rodents, kill and eat them. I've had a few unpleasant surprises on my doorsteps - squirrels, birds, and lizards. Keep an eye on your cat and if it gets foamy at the mouth and rabid, call the vet. Or better yet, if you are very concerned as it is, call them anyway and see what they think.
wha, did it eat it? or is it lying somewhere? my cat use 2 hunt squirrels and birds and i realize it's pretty gross.but if u startled ur cat while it was hunting the squirrel, eventually, it will come back 4 it. try leaving the squirrel where it is so the cat can finish it's job. it's just what they do.

My cat recently caught a squirrel and ate him:[. What are some symptoms I should look out for for rabies. And how long does it take for it to show?My cat Ate A Squirrel is he at risk?/Sypmtoms.?
I had a cat for 17 1/2 years and she caught and at least tried to eat squirrels, chipmunks, mice, snakes, weasels, bats, baby bunnies, frogs, toads, salamanders, and a variety of birds of all sizes. She was a blood-thirsty killer, who came home with her kill, to have a snuggle and nap.
I made sure she had her shots, and other than the occasional';interesting'; vomit, she was fine until she developed a tumor on her spine (which the vet said was most likely just from old age).

';What is the risk of rabies from squirrels, mice, rats, and other rodents?

A cat with rabies only lives about 10 days, which is why the quarantine period is 14 days. If yours had any rabies vaccine in the past 3 years he's still covered.
I would however have a poop sample checked, since squirrels carry tapeworm, fleas and potentially other worms in their digestive tract.
If the squirrel bit the cat and your cat is NOT vaccinated against rabies you must quarentine the cat.
The cat will not get rabies by eating a squirrel - the squirrel has to bite and inject the rabies into the cat's bloodstream.
my cat eats squirrels all the time and she has never got sick.if the cat got bit i would take him to the vet ASAP beacouse it might have rabies....I hope i helped you out :)
i wouldnt worry about rabies as i dont figure theres any known outbreaks as of yet..

If you saw a pack of stray Dogs chasing a Squirrel with a suit & hat on what would you do?
throw them a few steaks... I'd pick you up, hug you close, calm you down pat your back gently...and say...';There, there SA. you're okay..... Once you caught your breathe and the last sob and tear was gone...well I'd plant a kiss on your cheek... release you , say ';Bye,bye SA be careful!'; .... and watch you run to freedom as I waved good bye! :)
Had to modify this a little! Hope you don't mind! It was last last night! smiles! If you saw a pack of stray Dogs chasing a Squirrel with a suit %26amp; hat on what would you do?
I'd not even think of differentiating between a regular squirrel and one wearing a suit and hat, as far as attempting to save it! A creature is a creature. a living thing is a living thing. If in Peril, I'll do my best to save it. It does not have to be dressed to the nines to be worthy of rescue.
If I could not pick the critter up, or stop the straying dogs, I'd pull a tree from its' roots and tell the squirrel to climb it.
But suit and hate and just as it is in nature a critter is a critter, if I can save it I will. I have no favourites!
I'd not hurt the hungry dogs either, I'd feed them Doggy Chow, from a Large bag of the dry stuff! They get hungry too you know, hat or suit standing in the way.If you saw a pack of stray Dogs chasing a Squirrel with a suit %26amp; hat on what would you do?
I would throw rocks at the dogs which would turn their attention to me and climb a tree, or jump a fence. Then I'd invite the squirrel in for nuts and hot chocolate and turn on the MLB network for entertainment.
Cameraphone %26gt; Straight onto the internet!
Shoot the squirrel and feed it to the dogs, then sell the suit.
Oh no! Well, I'd find some way to stop those mean ol' dogs and rescue the squirrel. (without hurting the dogs of course)
I would scream ';SCOOOT!'; and chase the dogs and save the poor squirrel.
I would give the dogs a bone, so they can stop chasing the little guy. :)
Call the humane society!
No, it's a squirrel with a suit and a Cardinals hat chasing puppies.
well i'd have to follow the dogs to check out the Squirrel in the suit %26amp; hat...what else.
id safe the squirrel..even though one almost attacked me the other day.....
I would rescue the little guy of course. (:
Try to chase the dogs away. Have a good weekend.
Id take a picture of it, 'cause nobody would believe it.
~
I'd come to your rescue and save you! The dog would be flung into jail (pet shelter) lol! =D
I would say ';Hey! It's Scooter from Y!A';
I will stop taking weed.
laugh because that would pretty much be the funniest thing I've ever seen

If you saw Dick Cheney getting ready to shoot a Squirrel with a Suit & Hat on what would you do?
scream, ';noooooo!'; and jump in front of the squirrel in slow motion to take the bullet myself. If you saw Dick Cheney getting ready to shoot a Squirrel with a Suit %26amp; Hat on what would you do?
I would throw a brick at his head, and then when he fell I would commence to kicking him furiously while the Squirrel ran to safety. haha, I think I have violent tendencies =/ But, I don't take too kindly to folks shootin' Squirrels with suits and hats on! =PIf you saw Dick Cheney getting ready to shoot a Squirrel with a Suit %26amp; Hat on what would you do?
I would assume there is a (factual) conspiracy theory that has nothing to do with a squirrel at all...seriously.
That ';squirrel'; is part of a false flag operation and you bess' be runnin'!
I'd ask why is he trying to shoot George Bush. *zing*
Scream ';Nooooo!'; And throw a big rock at Cheney while alerting the squirrel to run and hide. Then I'd tell Dick that he better stay away from squirrels with a suit and hat, or he'll be sorry.
Tackle him to the ground and then go check to see if the cute little squirrel with a suit %26amp; hat was alright :)
Cheney is going down, tackle him then *mistake* him for a quail, claiming the sun was in my eyes, plus I can't stand the man at all.
I would move eveybody directly in his line of fire, because that's the safest place you could be.
Thank him.
I would hope the squirrel had a m16A2 and used it.
Laugh. Very belly ripping laughter!
Shoot his gun out of his hand first. Have a good day.
I would tell him if he keeps this up he is going to have no friends left.
RUN!! he might shoot me by accident lol
Id say, ';Dick! Are you nuts?';
probably a fox movie
I would call 911 and tell them to hurry up and get there
I'd shoot Dick Cheney, You do NOT shoot a squirrel with a suit %26amp; hat on..
Ask him if he paid full retail for the suit and hat
move to jamaica
Push him out of his wheelchair.
Bump into him.
I would kick him in the Family Jewels and call him a douche!
';I need to lay off the sauce';
Stop him!@# Squirrels are our friends!
I would kick him where it hurts!
Scream and run.
Film it!
.
RUN! That man has crappy aim!
call 911. quick. fast. and in a hurry.
video tape him and post it on youtube

Can someone name the adaptations of the harris antelope squirrel?
Well, according to this site (I don't know if you still need this information), it has a pale coloration which helps it blend in with its' surroundings as a defense mechanism.
The article implies that it lives in hot conditions and even when water isn't available, this animal can obtain water from its food.
It also has a weird reaction to being afraid or startled, but you'll have to read about it! It's a short article though.
Hope it helps!

Me and the kids have seen an albino squirrel should we report it to some wildlife protection people?
we've seen it a few times on our estate in streatham, just wondered if it might need special care.Me and the kids have seen an albino squirrel should we report it to some wildlife protection people?
well, albino squirells have a pretty small chance of surviving, so you could report itMe and the kids have seen an albino squirrel should we report it to some wildlife protection people?
I would definatly, the red squirrels are endangered so an albino must me even rarer
i wouldnt worry its lived allright tiil now
What, with white fur and pink eyes? Thats weird. I want one lol.
I Interned back in the day with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission and their stance on the albino squirrel was that it was to common for any special protection.
The reason for this is that though they are somewhat rare it is not a separate species, it's just a genetic anomaly and as such can happen at any time as long as the squirrel population is healthy (like it very much is!)
So, no need to report it, just enjoy one of natures little quirks!
no as if you disturb it it will panic and could get run over it will be finding a habitat
They are not all that rare. I saw one in Croydon a few years ago. I've also seen a pure black one.
It wouldn't hurt. You never know, there could be a chemical imbalance in the environment where the squirrel lives. I would rather be safe than sorry.

By the way, it should be ';The kids and I'; not ';me and the kids';
A common mistake is to use these pronouns incorrectly when creating a compound subject or object such as ';you and I'; or ';Tom and me';.
Correct examples:
Tom and I went to see the movie.
You should come with Tom and me.
It seems to me that we all remember being corrected when as children we improperly made statements such as ';Grandpa and me went to the park yesterday.'; ';Grandpa and I,'; we are told by our parents and teachers (who thought it futile to tell us that we must use the SUBJECT pronoun in this case). Eventually we self-consciously remember that the proper way to speak is ';grandpa and I';, ';you and I';, ';Tom and I';.
Was the albino squirrel a grey squirrel or a red squirrel?
Wow, it would be good if you could get a photo of it. Are you sure it's a squirrel? It could be a ferret - they are quite common in white. If it is a city dwelling squirrel its biggest threat is going to be cars and cats. Albinos in the wild generally don't stand much of a chance, firstly because it's possible the mother will reject it and secondly because they have no camouflage. If it's a prey animal it cannot hide from predators, if it's a predator it cannot stalk as efficiently because it will be spotted easily.
I would report it to someone and get the identification verified. I think it should be left to its own devices as it seems as if it's adapted to its environment. I still suspect it might be a ferret though.
Every species has an albino. Why be concerned?
Actually it is not all that rare, here in Canada in Exeter, Ontario there is a whole population of albino grey squirrels. I would suggest you just leave it alone and let it pass on its genes, eventually you may have an albino population where you live. Where I live the grey squirrels are more commonly black (melanistic) than grey.
Excerpt from Wikipedia... As its name suggests, the Eastern Grey Squirrel's fur is predominantly grey, but it can have a reddish tinge. Its belly is white. They have a large bushy tail. Particularly in urban situations where predation risk is reduced, both albino and melanistic forms of the Eastern Grey Squirrel are quite often found. At the northern limits of its range in the Canadian provinces of Ontario and Quebec, the melanistic form tends to be more common than the grey form. There are well established colonies of melanistic individuals in Victoria Park, London, Ontario, Canada (with a daughter colony at Kent State University, Ohio); Albion, Michigan; Farmington, Michigan; Holland, Michigan; Washington, DC; Toronto, Ontario and its surrounding areas; Princeton, New Jersey; and the Bronx, New York. Additionally there are colonies of albino (white) individuals in the towns of Exeter, Ontario and Olney, Illinois as well as Brevard, North Carolina.

The Northern Flying Squirrel ~ Main Threats to Survival?
im doin a project on a animal native to alberta.. i had to do information about its physical decription, habitat, diet, etc... done all that. now I just need its main threats to survival? do you have some ideas for what i can do... or just the link and i can do it myself :D thanks a lot !The Northern Flying Squirrel ~ Main Threats to Survival?
Flying squirrels can normally be hunted by owls, hawks, weasels, bobcats, and martens. House cats are the biggest threat to these animals. Due to tree loss, their habitats are at stake, and their food is limited.
Good luck on your project!

Can i hunt squirrel with a pellet gun in the woods?
i have a pellet gun and i was wondering is it legal to hunt squirrel with it or f i have some recerments to do it oo and i live in marina caCan i hunt squirrel with a pellet gun in the woods?
You should really hunt squirrel with a .22LR.....it's just more humane. Can i hunt squirrel with a pellet gun in the woods?
Of course you need to check your local statutes. Most law libraries post their general codes on line. However, you need to thing about the practical aspect too. The squirrel is a 10-30 oz animal, much larger than a mouse, so it will require a pretty decent shot to kill it. You one, don't want to injure an animal you're not going to harvest, and two, you don't want to use a weapon that may not kill the animal for a matter of several seconds because that will give the beast time to release adrenaline and ruin the taste of the meat.
Go with a 22.
in some places if not see if you can use a blow gun mine is more effective than a 22 at close range(penetration wise)(8 inches) and if not that see about a slingshot(you can shoot a skewer at 350 fps which would go right through a squirrel i reccomend if you do this make it so thin and sharp that it will go faster thus give higher penetration
If it's squirrel season, sure. If not, you're liable to get a citation from the DNR officer.
check your local laws, but as i always say, its not illegal if you dont get caught.

I've relocated quite a few with a havaheart trap.
throw some nuts on the ground
Run around and act like a nut!!!!
Take his nuts. ( And I mean nuts as in pecans, and acorns. Nothing else. ) Then you put the nuts in the trap, and let the trap down and there you have it!

I think your getting a little squarely. Your starting to look like one to:0
run it over
And you have this in the jokes. My boyfriend had a squirrel named Charlie, you catch them when they are still babies. Be sure to use a towel or something to cover them. The squirrel will calm down as it gets use to you holding and petting it. You can train them to be house broken by using a cat litter box. When they are grown you can let the squirrel go. Charlie stayed in the tree in the front yard and he loved peanut butter. Every time someone opened the refrigerator, who ever opened it had to get Charlie a spoon of peanut butter or he would throw a fit. We also had a Sugar Glider (a flying squirrel) named Foxy, they are easier to get, some pet stores sell them. The cost in our town was $400, but at the time we went to get Foxy she was on sell for half price. These sugar gliders grow to the size of a hand. Check these out first before you go running around a tree trying to catch one.
Get same walnuts and put them were you want them than they will always come to you. you have to make sure that they trust you so you have to do this about a week.
show him your nuts
Food inside a closing door trap cage would work. *Hint: They're sucker for walnuts.
get a box a stick a long string and some various nuts. At the base of a tree you know to be a squirrel tree place your box, tie the string to the stick (at one end) now prop the box up with the stick (string end on ground) place your squirrel goodies in the back end under the box. Walk away and watch and wait. When the squirrel goes under the box pull the string
this is really complicated.... listen closefully

If Ghosts are real, how come no one ever sees a ghost badger or squirrel?
hahahah ur funny. If Ghosts are real, how come no one ever sees a ghost badger or squirrel?
just because you havent seen one dont mean nobody else has or you may have seen one and just didnt realize it was a ghost. If Ghosts are real, how come no one ever sees a ghost badger or squirrel?
Do you want the cute answer? :) Animals have more faith than humans. They aren't afraid of crossing over because they don't fear God. They can come back to watch over loved ones but they aren't ghost animals because they have crossed over and choose to come back.
u can see them but look deep around u.
I've seen horses and a dog I had that died, as plain as day. (the horses were not mine and these were 2 separate incidents) Perhaps you just don't hear these stories as often as people oriented ones. Many sightings don't have an actual human figure involved, but people just assume that they must be human, though who knows what that ball of light or small figure or what one thinks is a head really is (or was). It's pretty common for people's pets to hang around their owners because of their loyalty and devotion to watch over them until they can join them in the next realm. And I am yet to see a ghost hunters episode that goes in the woods to look for wildlife ghosts such as badgers and squirrel, they always check houses or buildings of some kind for people. Animal spirits are all around us if we are open to their presence. This is how people get animal spirit guides.
Because they don't think about the things they could of done so they are truly at rest. Although I've heard some stories...
Lol..well just so ya know i've seen my dad's cat's ghost walking around the house!
How do you know that? People see plenty of ghost horses, dogs, cats and birds?
How do you know no one ever sees them? Do you presume to know what everyone does and doesn't do?
I have seen animal souls, yes- One's who became animal spirit guides an dthose who were pets and crossed over.
I have seen a few wild animals, I believe came to shed some of their wisdom on me-Like the polar bear. I saw him peaking into my fish tank. Was a sight to see!!
but no...children and those humans who can't exercise their free will with maturity and knowledge (mentally disabled/severe), and animals cannot make the choice to stay earthbound. They are not able to make the decision rationally.
Yes ghosts are real. I guess they are too busy chasing nuts?
I have seen my dogs' spirits-- i think there are, as u say, squirrel spirits- they are just much harder to notice
just because you havent seen one dont mean nobody else has or you may have seen one and just didnt realize it was a ghost. If Ghosts are real, how come no one ever sees a ghost badger or squirrel?

Is it legal to own a pet squirrel in minnesota?
no. you cannot keep a native species of wildlife as a pet in minnesota. period. there is a reason why ';wild'; is part of the word ';wildlife.';Is it legal to own a pet squirrel in minnesota?
Probably not, but when I lived in Minnesota, the squirrels were so tame that you could sometimes touch them. We used to set up cardboard boxes with a stick and a long string and catch them. We would entice them into the yard by putting out food like cereal or crackers - they love peanut butter. We didn't keep them, though. We set them free. They are so cute, but caution, kids. They bite and can carry bad diseases, like rabies. I don't think they were meant to be pets.Is it legal to own a pet squirrel in minnesota?
